What you need to rent
Passport
For identity and the rental agreement. Long-term rentals may also note your visa or long-stay status.
A deposit
Held against damage or fines and refunded at return. The amount depends on the car; long-term deals are often lighter than daily hire.
Minimum age
Typically 21–23 and up, depending on the car class and the rental company's policy.
Your rental options
The longer the term, the lower the daily cost.
Daily & weekly
For visits and trial periods. Flexible but the most expensive per day. Good while you decide where you'll live.
Monthly
The sweet spot for new arrivals — a much lower rate than daily, with insurance and maintenance included. Easy to extend month to month while you settle.
Yearly & long-term lease
The lowest rate of all, with a newer car, full servicing and a replacement vehicle if yours is in for repair. Ideal once you know you're staying.
With a driver
For airport runs, business days or guests, we can arrange a car with an experienced local driver by the day or longer.

Insurance
First-class insurance is standard on our long-term cars, so a scrape doesn't become a crisis. We explain the excess before you sign.
Servicing & maintenance
Routine service, tyres and repairs handled by the rental company — not your problem or your bill.
Delivery & handover
The car is delivered to your condo or the airport, checked over with you, and collected the same way at the end.
Replacement if needed
If your car goes in for repair, a replacement keeps you moving — a real advantage over owning.
Common questions
Can I drive on my foreign licence?
For short periods some foreign licences are tolerated, but the safe and correct way is your home licence together with an International Driving Permit, or a Thai licence. Insurers and police expect it, and it protects your cover in an accident.
Do I really need an International Driving Permit?
Yes, we recommend it. It's cheap and quick to get in your home country before you travel, and it makes both police checks and insurance claims straightforward.
Is insurance included?
On our long-term rentals, first-class insurance is included as standard. We always show you the excess (the amount you'd pay on a claim) up front so there are no surprises.
Is monthly really cheaper than daily?
Considerably. A monthly rate is far lower per day than daily hire, and yearly is lower again — with a better car and servicing included.
Can the car be delivered to my condo?
Yes. We deliver to your address in Wongamat, Naklua or anywhere in Pattaya, or to the airport, and collect it the same way.
Should I rent or buy?
For most new arrivals, rent. Buying ties up cash, brings paperwork and insurance in your name, and a resale later. Long-term rental gives you a car with everything handled — and you can change it easily.
